HIKE – Forest Bathing Walk

As part of the Darling Family Day celebration, we’ll take in the generously gifted natural environment with a forest bathing walk after the tree planting ceremony in honor of the Darling Family. Certified Forest Bathing instructor Jennifer Fendya will lead us on this rejuvenating walk through the woods as we immerse our senses in nature. Come out and enjoy the proven benefits of forest bathing on our physical and mental well-being, including lowering stress levels and boosting creativity.

Registrants meet at the Holcomb Pond trailhead on Vail Road in Collins.
OUTING LEVEL: Easy walk over mostly even terrain on marked trails. Forest bathing stools will be provided. Sturdy footwear and long pants recommended. Please bring a sack lunch, water, and snacks, and anything that makes you comfortable in the woods – hat, insect repellent, etc.
OUTING LEADER: Jennifer Fendya is certified by the Association of Nature & Forest Therapy Guides and Programs (ANFT) and has led forest bathing walks in and beyond Western NY since 2017. She is a Psychologist, Sandplay therapist, practitioner of Miksang contemplative photography, and facilitator of climate-related listening circles for Healing Circles Global and Climate Psychology Alliance.
