MISSION STATEMENT

of the

ZOAR VALLEY COALITION

The Zoar Valley Coalition is dedicated to the full protection and
preservation of the gorge and forested ecosystems of the public land
known as the Zoar Valley Unique Area/Multiple Use Area.

The Zoar Valley Coalition opposes all resource extraction on the
public land in Zoar Valley, including timber harvesting, and opposes the
practice of forest clearing for non-forested habitat in the Zoar Valley Unique
Area/Multiple use Area and elsewhere.
